Since Accra is right on
the Gulf of Guinea, we really did not want to miss going to the beach so we
spent a few hours there today. Labadi Beach is in town so pretty easy to
access. The breeze is amazing, and the water warm. However the tide moves
quickly and so we were constantly advised to keep moving down the beach as the
undertow moved in. Everyone had lots of fun playing in the waves, meeting some
local kids, and just generally relaxing. Only downside to the day was the
constant unwanted attention and hassle from the roaming Rasta vendors.
